This CMC wedding was a wedding that will forever leave a mark on my heart. My big brother, and my best friend.

But as always, BRIDALS FIRST!

Makayla’s Bridals were supposed to be in Eden Gardens- PSA: DO NOT show up in a wedding gown without calling first.
We got kicked out because Makayla was in her wedding gown and there was a wedding going on, even though we weren’t close and I’ve actually done bridals like this before.
We rushed over to Rosemary Beach just in time for the last 15 minutes of daylight.

Makayla added red roses for her bridals so that she had florals that were different from her wedding day, and the pop of red was the perfect touch!

Brent and Makayla’s wedding was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee!
They booked a cabin, Cranzdorf Lodge, and did everything there!
The cabin was so huge that the entire wedding party and friends were able to stay there for the whole weekend!

Something to know about Makayla is that she is very artsy and DIY— she did all of the florals for her wedding day!

Brent went and got her flowers the morning of and gave them to her before she started getting ready! They stayed together the night before and this was their final moment seeing each other before their first look!

This CMC bride decided the morning of that she wanted to cut her hair, luckily her sister who was about to graduate cosmetology school was able to cut it for her!

I was the Maid of Honor, so we found an associate photographer, local to the area, to shoot the wedding day so I could be a guest!
I did end up second shooting a large portion of the day but that’s okay because this gallery is worth it.

As I said before on Makayla and Brent’s engagement blog, this day was filled with so much emotion.
Seeing Makayla dressed up to be a bride as one of my closest friends was breathtaking, but knowing that she was my soon-to-be sister in law made this day so much more.

The scenery at this cabin was to die for! It genuinely set the scene for Mak and Brent’s first look!

This first look included Makayla’s new hair, and her wedding gown!

Both the bride and groom’s parents were asked to come join for prayer during the ceremony!

This picture was a second-first look for Brent to see Makayla’s dress without the skirt!

This day was nothing short of flawless.

Mak wore this jacket for their engagement session, she DIY’d this too and it was a must for their wedding day!

All of the bridesmaid dresses are regular sundresses, rather than traditional bridesmaids!

This wedding was a trendy, neutral, boho chic theme with a groovy twist! Makayla’s bachelorette party theme was disco!

The scenery surrounding us ended the day with serenity.
Knowing that my brother had graduated to a husband title, and my best friend would forever be treated with unconditional love, made this a wedding that is forever engraved in my heart.
